Our Company was originally incorporated at New Delhi as QUOD ISPAT LIMITED (FORMERLY KNOWN AS HIND ISPAT LIMITED) on 12thJune, 1985 under
the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 vide certificate of incorporation issued by the Registrar of
Companies, National Capital Territory of Delhi & Haryana. The certificate of commencement of
business issued by the Registrar of Companies, National Capital Territory of Delhi & Haryana on 17th
June, 1985.
We are a multi-product trading company with a diverse product portfolio. We are in the trading
business. We are the dealer in Metals, Bullions. We supply products which are made with most
advanced technology and graded raw materials.
We are a professionally managed and growing organization which aims at strengthening and
establishing itself as the foremost trader of steel, copper products in Delhi. We also aim at achieving
greater and long term growth.
We offer a gamut of Metal products, which includes Hot rolled Steel, Copper Wire Rod, Copper Ingots
and aluminum wire rods.
The Company came out with its initial public offering (IPO) for 4,99,300 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each
in May, 1989 and obtained listing on DSE.
In December, 1989, the Company issued 5,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each on Rights basis in ratio
of 1:1. Further, the Company issued 10,00,000 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each on Rights basis in ratio of
1:1.
In 2006 through the special resolution of members in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting and special
resolution by way of postal ballot, our present promoters acquired control over the Company from the
earlier promoters, pursuant to Regulation 12 of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and
Takeover) Regulations, 1997.
